The First Conversation

Help starts with a phone call or email. Contact me and we’ll set up a convenient time to chat on the phone. Tell me about your dog and your baby (expected or already here), and what your concerns are, and we’ll talk about how I can help you. I’ll explain how I work, and we’ll set up a time for the first meeting with your family.

Our First Meeting

We meet in the comfort of your home, where your dog and baby can behave naturally, in familiar surroundings. I will explain to you how to “read” your dog’s signals, and how to address any problems that have worried you, as well as any training your dog needs. I’ll explain the importance of safe supervision and how it works. Together, we’ll develop a plan for keeping your home calm and running smoothly.

What’s next?

What comes next is whatever you need: training to teach your dog new behaviors that will work well within the family, ongoing help and support with dog and baby time, guidance managing chaotic times at home, continuing advice about safe supervision, and any safety concerns you have. I offer individual lesson packages for ongoing help, along with phone support between lessons.
